Elevar and Northbeam usually land in the same band. Neither is clearly lighter on the typical store.
Both are attribution and server-side tracking apps. We measured Elevar on 170 Shopify ecommerce stores and Northbeam on 64.

Elevar was light on 99% of the stores it was measured on. Northbeam was light on 50% of the stores it was measured on.
On stores that run both
27 of the stores we checked load both. Elevar took less processing time than Northbeam on 19 of them.
Each band is an app's typical processing time across the stores it was measured on. Those stores differ from app to app. That makes the result on stores that run both the fairer test. Apps found on fewer than 20 stores aren't listed yet. The list grows as more stores are checked.
