MNTN is usually the lighter of the two. On the typical store it was light, while Meta Pixel was heavy.
Both are ad tracking pixels. We measured Meta Pixel on 504 Shopify ecommerce stores and MNTN on 66.

Meta Pixel was heavy on 70% of the stores it was measured on. MNTN was light on 79% of the stores it was measured on.
On stores that run both
61 of the stores we checked load both. MNTN took less processing time than Meta Pixel on 59 of them.
