Snap Pixel is usually the lighter of the two. On the typical store it was moderate, while Meta Pixel was heavy.
Both are ad tracking pixels. We measured Meta Pixel on 504 Shopify ecommerce stores and Snap Pixel on 83.

Meta Pixel was heavy on 70% of the stores it was measured on. Snap Pixel was moderate on 66% of the stores it was measured on.
On stores that run both
76 of the stores we checked load both. Snap Pixel took less processing time than Meta Pixel on 70 of them.
