Pinterest Tag is usually the lighter of the two. On the typical store it was light, while TikTok Pixel was moderate.
Both are ad tracking pixels. We measured Pinterest Tag on 116 Shopify ecommerce stores and TikTok Pixel on 180.

Pinterest Tag was light on 93% of the stores it was measured on. TikTok Pixel was moderate on 80% of the stores it was measured on.
On stores that run both
80 of the stores we checked load both. Pinterest Tag took less processing time than TikTok Pixel on 75 of them.
