Yates Jarvis

Founder & Principal, 2 Visions

Two decades growing ecommerce brands from $5M to $500M. Started in Moneyball. Based in Charleston, SC.

I’ve spent two decades at the intersection of data and human behavior in ecommerce. As Managing Director of eHouse Studio, a 2x Inc. 5000 firm, I scaled ecommerce revenues past $400 million annually for brands like Kay Jewelers, Spanx, and Dr. Axe. Before that, I co-owned ScoutAdvisor, a “Moneyball” predictive analytics company whose sabermetric models were used by 19 Major League Baseball teams and featured in Warner Bros.’ film Trouble with the Curve.

Today I lead 2 Visions, a boutique consultancy where I work directly with ecommerce CEOs, CMOs, and senior leaders to build the internal capability that drives 2x to 10x growth. No handoffs to junior staff. Just me and the people running the business, every week with a team behind the scenes when execution requires it. I’ve worked across pure DTC, retail with stores, omnichannel, and B2B-to-DTC launches, from $5M scrappy teams to $500M+ dominant online brands.

Find Me Across the Web

What I Am Known For

→ Diagnosing what’s actually broken in stalled ecommerce businesses.
→ Building growth plans operators trust enough to execute.
→ Taking owners, SVPs, and directors to the next level.

In practice this starts with quick fixes that steady the ship in the first 60 days, while the bigger strategic wins land behind them.

How I Got Here

When I was a little younger 🙂 I chose Wake Forest over MIT because I was interested in how people solve problems, not only the problems themselves. That instinct shaped everything that followed.

At ScoutAdvisor, nineteen MLB clubs trusted our sabermetric models, and Warner Bros. featured the work in Clint Eastwood’s film “Trouble with the Curve.” At eHouse, I scaled ecommerce operations past $400 million in annual revenue for major brands. Across both, I kept seeing the same pattern: strong strategies falling apart in execution. Not because the recommendations were wrong, but because the teams implementing them were working against misaligned incentives, unclear communication, and organizational friction nobody was addressing client-side. The human layer was where things broke down. That recognition sent me back to Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management for a masters focused on strategy and organization development.

2 Visions came out of that conviction. The name is literal. Every company operates with two visions whether it acknowledges them or not: one for economic performance and one for the humans and relationships that make performance possible. Most consulting models optimize for the first and ignore the second. I built a practice that treats them as inseparable.

That means I work directly with every client. Weekly. Over the long haul. It limits how many companies I can take on, and it limits my own firm’s growth. But it’s the only model I’ve seen consistently produce transformative results because real change doesn’t happen in a deliverable. It happens in the ongoing conversation.

Charleston & Off The Clock

I found Charleston by accident in high school, on a road trip with no maps and no destination. My wife is from here. After exiting ScoutAdvisor, we chose Charleston as the place to plant for good.

Music and nature are at the center of how I experience life. I have a small crew of sons and we hit a field every week for sport. Rooted in faith, I spend a lot of time thinking about big questions and engage with my community to be a net positive to everyone I meet.
